BGtyp donates the majority of each members $5 monthly membership fee to three different charities and non-profits each month in the category of Save the People (focused on health and human services), Save the Animals, and Save the Planet (focused on environmental causes). These charities will be voted upon and chosen by the members, so their money goes to those they want to help.
$5 may not seem like a lot, but if BeGoodtoYourPlanet.com had just one half of one percent of the members of other well known social websites, over five million dollars could be donated each and every month to help the world, and all those who inhabit it.
